And we feel humbled by this opportunity. Since our founding in 1999 by Dr. Narendra Kumar Shyamsukha, we have grown into one of India’s leading vocational training providers with a presence in 100+ cities. With NSDC affiliation, government collaborations, and a strong placement network, we continue to deliver practical, job-oriented training in Accounting, Finance, Digital Marketing, IT, and emerging job roles—bridging the gap between learning and earning.
The journey of ICA Edu Skills began with Dr. Narendra Kumar Shyamsukha, a practicing Chartered Accountant. In his early career, while working with clients and conducting hiring drives for his firm, he noticed a troubling reality—there were vacancies in the industry, but fresh graduates lacked the practical skills to fill them. Determined to bridge this gap, he started ICA in 1999, from a small room in his office, with the vision of making quality, job-oriented training accessible to India’s youth. What started as a single initiative soon grew into a nationwide movement. By 2003, ICA had expanded across India, and by 2005 established over 100 centers. In 2007, the institute raised $12.5 million in private equity, fueling rapid growth. With the launch of government projects in 2010 and our NSDC affiliation in 2014, ICA became a trusted partner in India’s national skilling ecosystem. Our journey continued with skill training in 1,000+ schools (2017), the launch of IDCM – Digital Marketing Training (2020), and the rollout of online courses for upskilling & reskilling (2022). In 2023, we partnered with universities to integrate skill training with internships, bringing students closer to real-world opportunities. Guided by Dr. Shyamsukha’s vision, ICA has empowered over 5 lakh learners, staying true to its mission of bridging the gap between education and employment across India.
